While I think it’s a cute idea and am all about seeing President Bush leave office, I hope at the same time they’re spending the same amount of resources on making sure people like Jim Oberweis never make it to public office.
I’m sure if I was always on the record that I would also have quite a number of misspoken remarks (usually after a few drinks, I’m sure!). President Bush has certainly had more than his fair share over the eight years and here’s some of the “Best Bushims over the years.” Below are a few of my favorites.
“There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.” — Sept. 17, 2002, in Nashville, Tenn.
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” — Aug. 5, 2004, at the signing ceremony for a defense spending bill.
“I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.” — September 2000, explaining his energy policies at an event in Michigan.
My brother received a Christmas gift that definitely made me laugh when I saw the picture. The iCarta + is a Stereo dock for iPod with Bath Tissue Holder with Built-in rechargeable battery.
Granted, I definitely do have a JBL On Stage Micro in my bathroom for when I’m showering and getting ready in the morning but this spin on it is pretty amusing. I wonder which would run out faster, the battery or the paper roll.
Good parenting is rare these days… even in Utah, go figure.
Charges filed this week in 3rd District Court say the woman drove recklessly on Nov. 28 through a Costco parking lot in West Valley City. Authorities said she hit a curb and blew out a tire in the process.
The charges said witnesses told police she then switched places with her 15-year-old daughter so the girl would be in the driver’s seat when police got there.
I love that Funny or Die is a collection of well known comedians/stars and are able to get the big names on things like this. Prop 8 - The Musical by Jack Black. I definitely enjoyed it!
A BrenthavenSling II case is getting delivered to me today for eval. I’ll be using it as my only laptop case for a few weeks and will report back.
I’ve been using the Tripp-LiteSuper Notebook Backpack for about two months and have been all but impressed with it as a laptop bag. As a backpack in general, not so bad but protection for my MacBook Pro, not so much. I may or may not post about the Tripp-Lite bag but we’ll see.
